Innovative materials have had a lasting effect on interior design efforts of recent years. Interior design should appeal to all senses, i. e. act synesthetically, to create absolutely new and surprising room ambiences. The volume features approximately 56 exceptionally designed rooms with a special focus on the presentation and interaction of individual design elements wood, rock, concrete and surfaces.
